Arkansas motorcycle rider dies in fatal accident in Vernon County

A motorcycle rider from Fayetteville, Arkansas died in an accident at 2 p.m. Saturday on I-49- five miles south of Rich Hill in Vernon County.
46-year-old Joshua B. Ward was on a southbound 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special that crashed when he failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the roadway into the median.
The Highway Patrol says he was taken by helicopter to Cox South Hospital in Springfield where he was pronounced dead.
It was the 61st fatality accident worked by SW Missouri Highway Patrol Troop D this year.
