Former Neosho Mayor William Doubek dies

A longtime Neosho public servant and spiritual leader has died.
The City of Neosho has announced that former Neosho mayor and City Council member William Doubek died last Thursday, May 30.
He first served on the City Council in 2016 and was the Mayor of Neosho in 2019 and was re-elected in 2021.
Doubek was a pastor and a Vietnam War veteran. Arrangements are pending through the Clark Funeral Home.
