Joplin Schools now enrolling for "Little Eagles Flight School"

A new learning opportunity is coming for some Joplin kids!

The Joplin School Board says for the 24-25 academic year, they are opening three new preschool classrooms for 4-year-olds in the Irving Elementary, Royal Heights Elementary-Joplin, and Soaring Heights Elementary school zones.

Citing a great need for affordable early learning in the community, these classes will charge ZERO tuition.

Flight School classrooms will operate during the same school hours as elementary buildings for all-day classes.

Students who live in-zone will have access to bus services.

Breakfast and lunch will be served, and students will be provided with all the resources available to Eagles in a typical elementary setting.

The school says their goal is to offer a quality early learning experience to as many students as possible.
