Parsons woman killed in early Sunday morning accident

A woman from Parsons, Kansas, was killed in a one-vehicle accident early Sunday morning.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Ashley M. Rendon was going west on Highway 126, four miles west of Pittsburg, when she went off the road and into a ditch.

Her vehicle overturned and caught fire. Rendon was pronounced dead later that morning.
