Judges Still Needed For Heart of the Ozarks Speech & Debate Tournament

The upcoming 62nd Annual Heart of the Ozarks Speech & Debate Tournament will host over 30 highschools and over 500 competitors are expected to attend. Students will be judged in ten different events including original oratory, humorous and dramatic interpretation, extemporaneous speaking, duo acting, musical theater, and students congress. There are four different debate forms that will be highlighted: Lincoln Douglas, Public Forum, Policy, and Big Question. 

Judges are still needed for this event which takes place on Friday, February 16 and Saturday, February 17th. Those interested in judging the competition may contact Joplin High School at 417-627-2580.
