Train derails, crashes into home in Vernon County

VERNON COUNTY, Mo. - A train derailed in a small town in SW Missouri Friday night, crashing into a home.
The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office tell NewsTalk KZRG the train derailed off the tracks in Milo, a small community between Lamar and Nevada.Reports say up to 18 railroad cars, most empty, went off the track.
A spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office told NewsTalk KZRG there were no hazardous substances spills and no injuries as a result of the derailment.
