MSSU's MLK, Jr. Celebration slated for January 15th

Missouri Southern State University will hold its 24th Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration from 6 -8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15th at the Ron Richard Athletic Center - formerly known  the North End Zone facility. 

 

Joplin 's new Police Chief Richard Pearson, who was sworn in on Dec. 17th,  will give the keynote address at the event.


The program will start at 7 p.m. after a social hour starting at 6 p.m.  This year's theme is “Living the Dream: It Starts With Me — Spreading Hope, Courage and Unity."
