One man injured in Sunday accident near Carl Junction

A traffic accident on Fir Road about two miles south of Carl Junction causing injuries to one man about 12:15 yesterday afternoon [Sunday].

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred when a westbound vehicle driven by 53-year-old Kenneth Sharp of Carl Junction turned in front of an eastbound vehicle driven by 22-year-old Jacob B. Fisher of Joplin.

At that point Fisher's vehicle struck Sharp's.

Fisher was taken by ambulance to a Joplin hospital with moderate injuries. Sharp was not injured.
