Medicare open enrollment is underway in Missouri.

Through December 7, eligible Missourians can change their Medicare Part D drug coverage or Medicare Advantage plans. 

Chlora Lindley-Myers, Director of the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance, says Medicare plans and a person’s circumstances can change year to year, and what has been previously selected may not be the best fit for your needs now. 

Missouri’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program, or MO SHIP, offers free help to residents eligible for Medicare and their caregivers. Last year, the average savings per MO SHIP consumer was two-thousand dollars. Missourians can get free and unbiased help from MO SHIP by visiting missouriship.org.
