Claremore police investigating reported homicide

Police in Claremore, Oklahoma are investigating a homicide after a woman's body was found in her Claremore home Saturday night.

That's according to reports from Tulsa Station KTUL.

44-year-old Heather Michelle Baker reportedly was found dead in her home by police  after her friends called the police when she did not show up for work.

It is confirmed that Detectives are investigating her death as a homicide.

Also a person of interest has been identified.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is involved in the investigation.

Police do say the incident is believed to be isolated and there is no threat to the larger community.
