Man in Pittsburg charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

In Crawford County, Kansas a man from Shawnee, Kansas is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following a Wednesday night incident.

18-year-old Joel Francis Knernschield allegedly threatened four female victims with bodily harm with a handgun.

The alleged crime took place near Pitt State's Carnie Smith Stadium.

A $10,000 cash/pro bond was set for Knernschield who is scheduled to appear in court on November 9th.
