Young to announce Independent candidacy for Senate tonight

Jared Young, from Webb City, will announce his candidacy for the U.S. Senate at 7 p.m. tonight at the Sterling Event Center.

Young is entering the race as an Independent candidate.

He earned a bachelor's degree in Middle East Studies and Arabic from BYA and a law degree from Harvard.

He currently works as Chief Acquisitions Officer at G & A  Partners in Joplin.
