Things to do at the Missouri State Fair

The monster truck show, live concerts, and funnel cakes will make a return to the Missouri State Fair in less than one month. 

It is August 10 through the 20 in west-central Missouri’s Sedalia. 

State Fair Director Mark Wolfe talks about one of the popular items at the fair:

“For special events that people ought to go see if they're not regular fairgoers maybe, our six-horse hitch draft horse show is phenomenal to see - one of the most beautiful things you'll ever see and it's pretty impressive on top of that,” Wolfe says.

Other fair attractions include a barbeque contest on August 11, a daily water circus, carnival rides, and 4-H exhibits.
