City Council to approve Hope Park MOU Tuesday night

The Joplin City Council will meet this Tuesday night - a day later than usual due to the Juneteenth Holiday.
Among other things, the Council will approve a Memorandum of Understanding to build Hope Park - near the Joe Becker Stadium in East Town.
It will include a park and playground.
The East Town Dreams District group raised the funds for the park which will be maintained by the City.
The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers in City Hall at 602 S. Main
