Cherokee County road construction starting to soon

Close to six million dollars will be spent on road projects in Southeast Kansas for resurfacing several roads.
One project will be Highway 69 from Crestline to the Crawford - Cherokee County line at a cost of just over three million, three hundred thousand dollars.
The second project will be Highway 400 from Riverton to Crestline at a cost of around two and a half million dollars.
The bids were accepted on May 24th but announced this week.
