2 year old boy killed in crash near Springfield

2 year old boy killed in crash near Springfield

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reporting the death of a two year old boy.  

The patrol said the accident happened just before ten Sunday morning east of Springfield on Blackman Road when 43 year old Cory Stapp driving on a private drive struck the child.  

Stapp was arrested for suspicion of impairment.  

The child died at a Springfield hospital.
