Hostage situation in Grove Monday: Suspect found dead

There was a hostage situation yesterday afternoon in Grove.
Delaware County Sheriff James Beck was informed about the hostage situation which involved a gun just after 12:30 Monday.
The Sheriff's Office and Grove police responded to the situation in which an armed man, identified as Gary Combs, was inside the residence with four hostages.
One of those was Comb's estranged wife who had an order of protection against him.
Eventually all the hostages escaped and only Combs was left inside the home.
A short time later, officers heard a single gunshot.
Officers entering in the residence found Combs dead.
The investigation continues.
