3-car crash south of Diamond injures four, one seriously

A Saturday evening crash on Route J south of Diamond resulted in serious injuries to a woman from Reeds and minor injuries to four teenagers.

The MO State Highway Patrol says the accident happened when a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Bryan J. Ordonez-Reyes of Neosho crossed the centerline and a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Amy Outt of Reeds.

That caused her to hit a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old boy from Neosho.

Outt suffered serious injuries and was taken by EMS to a Joplin hospital. The teen driver and three teenage passengers, all from McDonald County, had only minor injuries.

Ordonez-Reyes was not injured.
