City of Joplin railroad crossing repairs to continue

The city of Joplin says work will continue on repairing rough railroad crossings around town.

Work on the Pennsylvania Ave, Joplin Ave, and Illinois Ave. crossings near 10th Street are complete.

Tomorrow morning, Tuesday, March 28, those roads will be opened, and St. Louis Ave. will be closed near Campbell Parkway for the crossing to be repaired. St. Louis Avenue is expected to be closed for two days.

Following that closure, Main Street will be closed near 10th Street for crossing repairs.

Drivers are urged to use extreme caution in the work area. The City appreciates your patience.
