A woman from Arizona was killed in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Kansas Monday morning.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Highway 47, two miles west of Girard, when a car crossed the center line and struck an SUV driven by 69-year-old Judith Elaine Keener, of Kayenta, Arizona, head-on.

She was pronounced dead a few hours later.

The driver of the car, 43-year-old Kelli Lynn Bradshaw, of Walnut, Kansas, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a Joplin hospital for treatment.
