Heart of the Heartlands Railroad Museum announces new hours

CARONA, Kan. -  A railroad museum situated between Route 66, and Parsons and Pittsburg, Kansas is now open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Heart of the Heartlands Railroad Museum is located in Carona, Kansas, four miles east of historic Big Brutus.

Explore restored depots, a steam engine, cabooses, passenger cars and other rolling stock. The museum buildings are also full of artifacts from all of the Four State area railroads.

There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated.
