Minor injuries after Carthage school bus strikes vehicle

A few students suffered minor injuries in Carthage Thursday morning after a school bus was involved in an accident.
The school district says it happened at approximately 7:25 am, when a Carthage School District bus that transporting students to school was traveling south on Chapel Road and crossing Fir Road when it struck another vehicle that was traveling east.
All students were given the opportunity to be evaluated by medical personnel on the scene which resulted in a few students seeking additional medical assistance. Parents were notified and arrangements were made to get students to school.
