Winter advice: Don't forget the pets

Remember in the winter time, especially when temperatures dip into or near single digits: Pets need love and care, too.

Pets are not impervious to the cold. Just a little shelter, like an out building or barn can help.

But when temperatures get really cold, pets need to come inside, even it its only for the night.

Make sure they have a warm, dry place to rest with plenty of food and water.

And don't forget hydration: A bowl of water could help save a pet's life.
