Webb City Public Works looking into low pressure reports

At least some people in Webb City today thought their water might have frozen up overnight.

The problem seems to be to be one of low pressure.

That's according to a Facebook message from the Webb City Police Department.

The message says that Public Works in Webb City is doing its best to find and fix the issue.

UPDATE:

Early this afternoon, Public Works located the problem which was a low water sensor on the water tower that had frozen and wells shut down due to an indication towers were full. Public Works restarted the wells to increase water pressure.

Webb City Public Works advises customers that, as of 3:30 p.m. Friday, no boil order will be necessary as the the water system did not drop below the required pressure.
