Victim of Monett house fire identified

MONETT, Mo. - An identification has been made on the victim of a house fire in Monett in November. The man has been identified now as 47-year-old James Creekmore. Identification was verified through DNA testing. That's according to a news release from the city of Monett. The fire took place back on November 29th on Second Street in Monett. The body, now identified as Creekmore's, was found at the scene. Creekmore reportedly died of smoke inhalation.
