One-car accident near Goodman injures driver

An accident on MO 59, one mile north of Goodman, resulted in injuries. to 29- year-old Joshua E. Cannon of Neosho.

It happened around 7 a.m. this morning (Sunday).

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, the wreck took place when a southbound vehicle driven by Cannon went off the left side of the road, struck a mailbox and then traveled down a ravine.

Cannon suffered serious injuries.

He was taken by ambulance to Freeman West in Joplin.
