More information is now being released by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol about an automotive drowning that took the life of a 6-year-old and the driver of the vehicle.
It happened on Nov. 4th when authorities say the driver tried to cross a flooded low-water bridge.
The vehicle was swept into the flood waters.
The OHP says a 6-year-old and the driver, 43-year-old Tylen Turman of Jay, Oklahoma both drowned.
Two other children were in the car at the time.
The patrol says Turman's body was found a full 11 miles northwest of where the incident took place.
The other two children were treated and released at a Siloam Springs, Arkansas hospital.
