School administrators are looking at new ways to try and protect their students and staff from active shooters.

A Sullivan, Missouri company has been working on equipping school districts with protective tools that double as furniture or classroom equipment.

Paul Alexander is the founder and CEO of Executive Wood Products, a company that manufactures fine wood products, including anti-ballistic furniture and bulletproof panels that help absorb projectiles from caliber weapons such as an AK-47 and an AR-15.

The company sells its anti-ballistic products to the U.S. Government, churches, private businesses, and schools.
