Springfield Police investigating fatal shooting

In Springfield, police are investigating a fatal shooting.

Station KY3 says it happened around 10 Friday morning in a Springfield residential community not far from a middle school.

The shooting reportedly took the life of 52-year-old Charles Tart of Springfield.

He reportedly died after the shooting from gunshot wounds.

Police are said to be are looking for 40-year-old Robert S. Parmley of Springfield.

Police believe he left the crime scene in a 2006 Ford Expedition with the Missouri license plate TJ2-G1L. Authorities consider him armed and dangerous.

The killing was the 14th homicide in Springfield so far in 2022.
