Roy Blunt Center to be dedicated Monday

| The National Institutes of Health will hold a dedication ceremony for the Roy Blunt Center for Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias at 1 p.m., CT on Monday, Sept, 19. The Center is located on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland. As the senior Republican on the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, & Related Agencies, Blunt has led efforts to increase funding for NIH by around 50% over the past seven years. During this time, he focused much-needed attention and funding to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, more than quintupling the amount of funding available for research The ceremony will be livestreamed at: https://videocast.nih.gov/watch=46192. | |||
