MO Governor Mike Parson on recreational marijuana vote this November

This November, voters from Missouri will be voting on whether to legalize recreational marijuana.

On the KZRG Morning News Watch, we asked Governor Mike Parson if there was anything the state could do to prevent the issue from being on the ballot?

“Anytime you get 450 pages of anything, it is problematic.  Because it was normally drawn up by lawyers and you never know who’s trying to move pieces around and take advantage of situations.  It should be a red flag for everybody.”

In the 450 page petition, all marijuana crimes previously committed in the state would be wiped away from the records.
