Missouri State Senator elect Jill Carter was on the KZRG Morning News Watch Tuesday morning.
One of the reasons she ran for office was: “There seems to be a lot of distrust in politics. We need to build community again and a relationship again with helping people feel more plugged in to what’s going on politically, then we have to have more conversations and be able to say we need better leadership.”
Jill Carter defeated incumbent Bill White in the primary election earlier this month.
