Joplin man pleads guilty to second-degree child molestation

He once worked at a Joplin arcade frequented by children.
Yesterday, 37-year-old Robert Buggey of Joplin pleaded guilty to a count of second-degree child molestation.
The victim in the case was the 4-year-old daughter of Buggey's girlfriend.
Buggey was originally charged with statutory rape, two counts of statutory sodomy and providing pornography to a minor.
At the time charges were filed, Buggey worked at the Tilt Arcade inside Joplin's NorthPark Mall.
Sentencing is scheduled for August 4th.
