Motorcycle accident results in injuries to man from Neosho

Motorcycle accident results in injuries to man from Neosho

An accident on Monark Drive at Missouri 86, two miles east of Neosho, resulted in injuries to a motorcycle rider from Neosho.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 43-year-old Chrisopher M. Gilliam of Neosho was northbound when his 1996 Harley Davidson ran off the roadway on a curve, overturned and ejected the driver who was not wearing a helmet.

The Patrol says Gilliam was transported to a Joplin hospital suffering from moderate injuries.
