Pedestrian from Joplin hit in Springfield

Series injuries were suffered by a man from Joplin in a hit and run accident in Springfield Saturday night.   

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 54 year old pedestrian Danny Muncy was struck by a vehicle that went on to hit a parked vehicle in a parking lot before leaving the scene.  

Muncy was taken to a Springfield hospital.
