More than 150 to graduate from KCU-Joplin medical school Sunday

More than 150 to graduate from KCU-Joplin medical school Sunday

This Sunday morning, more than 150 soon-to-be graduates of Kansas City University (KCU)-Joplin will gather in full regalia at MSSU's Leggett & Platt Athletic Center  for the school's  first post-COVID commencement ceremony.

The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. and should conclude by 1 p.m.

It will take place without COVID restrictions  (in-person and without masks, social distancing or guest restrictions).

More than 1,000 people are expected to attend.

After the ceremony, the new doctors will be going into residencies throughout the country.
