Corpse found by Pittsburg Police

Pittsburg Police responded early Monday afternoon to a home in the eleven hundred block of West 4th Street for a welfare check.  

What they found was the corpse of a female.   

Pittsburg Police are investigating the death as suspicious.   

The identity has not been released.
