4th person charged in 2020 death of Aurora woman

The fourth of nine defendants has entered a guilty plea for her role in the death of a woman from Aurora.
Kimberly Henderson, of Stotts City, took a plea deal to robbery after initially being charged with murder, assault and armed criminal action.
A judge then sentenced her to 25 years in prison.
It stems from the death of 27-year-old Sarah Pasco, when she and another woman were kidnapped in August 2020, forced into a well and then shot. The other woman survived by playing dead.
Investigators still have yet to determine a motive for the shooting but do believe drugs had a role in the murder.
Lawrence County Prosecutor Don Trotter expects most of the remaining defendants to take plea deals soon.
