Three-truck accident results in injuries to one driver

A three-car accident on Highway 43, 1 mile south of Joplin early Thursday afternoon resulted in injuries to a man from Joplin.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report says the crash occurred when a northbound truck driven by 56-year-old Kristofor F. Ford of Joplin was struck by a northbound pickup driven by 24-year-old Gabriel Z. Martin of Joplin while making a right turn.

That truck then struck a southbound 2011 Ford Ram driven by 28-year-old David J. Robinson of Joplin.

Martin was transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin with moderate injuries.

The other drivers were not injured.
