Bones of new dinosaur found in southern Missouri

Experts say there may be a lot more bones in the same area where the bones of a new dinosaur were recently found in southern Missouri.

The duck-billed dinosaur, called a Parro-saurus, Missouri-ensis was about 35 feet long and the bones found represent a new genus and species.

Guy Darrough, curator of the Saint. Genevieve Museum Learning Center says it’s like discovering King Tut’s tomb.

Scientists says the dinosaur lived on the the eastern shore of the Western Interior Seaway that divided North America more than 70 million years ago.
