Biden to undergo procedure; Harris to temporarily gains powers of the Presidency

The White House announced that President Joe Biden will undergo a colonoscopy today.

As prescribed by the U.S. Constitution, Vice President Kamala Harris will temporarily gain the powers of the Presidency.

The procedure will be done at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

The 78-year-old Biden last had a colonoscopy in 2019. That procedure revealed no problems.

Harris, as Vice-President, is the first woman to temporarily become Commander in Chief.
