Joplin Parks and Recreation Department announces 22nd Annual Turkey Shootout

The Joplin Parks and Recreation Department is hosting their annual Turkey Shootout this week.
The event will be held this Friday, November 19, starting at 6 pm in the Boys and Girls Club Gymnasium, which is located at 317 Comingo Ave.
Children from kindergarten through 8th grade will have the opportunity to test their skills in a free throw contest.
Children can compete to win prizes, which include a Thanksgiving turkey and/or gift cards.
The event is free, but registration is recommended by November 18.
