MoDOT announces reopening of McDonald County bridge

MoDOT has announced the completion of a project in McDonald County.

Route EE/Indian Creek bridge near Lanagan reopened yesterday at 6 PM.

A MoDOT news release says, "This bridge was closed in June so contractor crews could replace the old truss bridge with a new structure that has no truss and is four feet higher, 77 feet longer and six feet wider than the old bridge."

This new bridge is part of Governor Mike Parson's $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which "will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state," according to the news release.
