Pittsburg Police treating Saturday death as a homicide

A death in Pittsburg Saturday evening is being treated as a homicide.
Police said in a news release officers were called to an apartment at 415 S. Broadway around 6:22 Saturday evening after a caller reported seeing a female lying on the the floor bleeding.
The door of the apartment was open at the time.
Police and EMS responded and pronounced the woman dead.
The woman's name has not yet been released.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
