Kansas Governor celebrates opening of new hospital in Overland Park, Kansas

Yesterday, Governor Laura Kelly celebrated the grand opening of the AdventHealth South Overland Park Hospital, the first new-full service hospital in 15 years for the Kansas City metro area.
This facility is 193,000 square feet.
The hospital will offer a birth center, surgical services, intensive care unit, heart care and more, according to a news release from the Governor's office.
It's expected to open early October 2021.
