Kansas man sentenced to 480 months for child pornography production

49-year-old Clinton Wade McElroy of Ellis, Kansas is officially off the streets.
He was sentenced earlier this month to 480 months in federal prison.
McElroy pleaded guilty in May to production of child pornography after a prior conviction.
Court documents say he persuaded an 8-year-old child to produce sexually explicit images and send them to him through an online game and various messaging applications.
McElroy was taken down by Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide Dept. of Justice initiative dedicated to combating child sexual exploitation and abuse.
