Springfield man dies after convenience store shooting

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - A Springfield man who was shot outside a convenience store on Friday has died.
Springfield Police said Saturday that 49-year-old Jason Masters died at a hospital after he was shot outside a Conoco Village Mart around 2 p.m. Friday.
Springfield Police say no arrests have been made and a suspect has not been identified.
Detectives continue to investigate and are asking anyone who has information about this incident to contact the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810 or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477).
Masters' death is the 15th homicide of the year in Springfield.
