Another drowning to report. This time it was a man from Independence, Kansas who drowned in Elk City Lake State Park in Montgomery County.

Thomas Crittenden reportedly jumped from a boat shortly before 7 p.m. Friday night and never resurfaced.

Crittenden's body was found around 5:30 Saturday night.

He's the second person to have drowned in Elk City Lake so far this year.

Montgomery County Sheriff Ron Wade reminds all boaters and those entering the water away from the swimming area in the Park to wear life vests.
