A golf cart accident has taken the life of a Missouri woman.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 57-year-old Lisa Ilsely of Fairfax, Missouri was riding in a golf cart at the Black Oak Resort in Lampe just before 11:30 p.m. Friday night when the driver failed to negotiate a curve.
The cart hit a tree and overturned. Ilsely and the driver were ejected.
Ilsely was airlifted to Cox South in Springfield but did not survive.
The driver, 57-year-old William Ilsley of Fairfax, was tested for alcohol consumption.
There's no word yet on the outcome of that test.
