Masks back for Walmart, Inc. employees

Masks are back at Walmart, Inc.

On Friday, the big box giant re-instituted the mask requirements that had been eased a few weeks ago. The new rules apply to vaccinated and unvaccinated workers,

Walmart will not require customers to wear masks although they will be strongly encouraged, especially in locations hardest hit by the recent surge in COVID-19 cases.

Walmart also is upping its employee vaccine incentive from $75 to $150.

That will last until October 4th.

That's the day Walmart traveling managers and employees at the Bentonville headquarters will be required to be vaccinated unless they have what CEO Douglas McMillon calls an "approved exception."
